We are proud to share that Dragos Velicu, Junior Research Fellow in our lab, recently presented his research at the AIIS 2025 Conference (https://aiishow.com/). His talk focused on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs), an area rapidly transforming how we understand and interact with the brain.
Dragos’s presentation focused on how artificial intelligence can be used to interpret brain signals more accurately and efficiently. He discussed recent advances in machine learning models that enable real-time decoding of neural activity, work that holds significant potential for developing assistive technologies for individuals with neurological conditions.
The audience’s response was overwhelmingly positive, with many students engaging in thoughtful discussion afterwards. Dragos represented our team with professionalism, clarity, and enthusiasm, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
